Privacy policy

Odolim has no accounts, never asks for your location, and does not hold your mileage. The app does send crash and diagnostic reports, and this page says exactly which.

What stays on your iPhone

Everything you type into the app is stored on the device, in its private storage, and nowhere else:

• each vehicle’s name, start date, annual cap, contract length and overage rate;
• your odometer readings and their history;
• your extension amendments, if you have any;
• your unit, currency and display preferences.

None of it is ever sent to the publisher. Deleting the app erases it from the device. There is no server-side copy, so there is no backup we could restore for you.

What the app does not do

• no account, no sign-up, no email address asked for;
• no access to location, no trip tracking, no background activity;
• no advertising, no ad trackers, no advertising identifier (IDFA);
• no in-app purchases;
• no selling or sharing of data for commercial purposes.

Diagnostics and crash reports

To fix faults, the app sends technical data to Sentry, an error-tracking service acting as our processor. The data is ingested in Sentry’s European region, hosted in Germany (ingest.de.sentry.io). What is sent:

Technical context

iPhone model, iOS version, app version, language and regional settings, available memory and storage.

Crashes and errors

The stack trace, and the trail of actions that led to it (breadcrumbs: screens opened, taps, requests).

Application logs

The messages the app writes to its runtime console.

IP address

Sent and stored alongside the event, since the context-enrichment option is on.

Session replay

A reconstruction of the screens you moved through is recorded for roughly one session in ten, and for any session in which an error occurs. Under the tool’s default settings, text and images in it are masked: the shapes and the sequence of screens are visible, not the contents of your fields.

This data is used only to diagnose and fix defects. It is not used to profile you, is not combined with other sources, and is not passed to anyone else. It is kept for {{DUREE_CONSERVATION_DIAGNOSTICS}}, then deleted.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the app working (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).

Update checks

At launch, the app asks Expo (EAS Update) whether an update is available. That request carries your IP address, the app version and its runtime version. None of your contract data is included.

Downloads and the App Store

Downloads, ratings and any refunds are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. All we receive from Apple is aggregate, anonymous statistics that cannot identify you.

This site

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and makes no request to any external service: the fonts, the images and the simulator are all served from this domain. There is therefore no consent banner to show. The simulator runs entirely in your browser; the figures you type into it are neither sent nor stored.

Our host records technical requests (IP address, timestamp, page requested) in its server logs, as any host does, for security and operational purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of the diagnostic data described above. To exercise it, write to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} with the approximate date and your device model — the only details that let us find an event. The data held on your iPhone is not in our possession, so you erase that yourself by deleting the app.

You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; ours is the French CNIL.
